New Chair Demands a Passion for Retail Excellence From BC’s Retail Industry
Vancouver, BC - Retail BC is excited to announce the election of Misti Mussatto as Retail BC’s Chair. Mussatto joined the Board of Directors in 2005 and her drive to be the best retail business owner possible, and her high regard for retail excellence, brings a new inspiration and enthusiasm to the Retail BC Board and the association as a whole.
“I think the retail industry in BC is dynamic and pulsating with diversity and opportunity”, says Mussatto “However, I also think there is a lot we can do in the next few years before the world lands on our doorstep in 2010, and I am personally committed to doing all I can to ensure this industry exudes excellence from front line staff to the business owners.”
Mussatto and husband, Gary, are the proud owners of Toy Jungle Enterprises in Park Royal South and Coquitlam Centre, as well as the Park Royal Gator Pit. Toy Jungle came into being as a result of a little imagination, a lot of hard work and a desire to create a successful and lighthearted toy business.
The Mussattos are not only great retailers, they are award-winning retailers. In 2005, Misti and Gary were the first BC retailers to win the Toys & Games magazine Canadian Retailer of the Year reader’s choice award. They have also been named “Favourite Toy Store on the North Shore” by Outlook Newspaper.
